He's here to stick around. After class one Friday afternoon Velcro lad was drenched in super stickum solution when a transport truck over turned on the Highway. Ever since he has been stuck in an unending battle with his archfrenemy Mojo Slickdo the great repulser. Mojo has long been trying to capture Velcro Lad and leach his attractive force power to further his plans to bring the moon closer to the earth and build a giant latter from the top of Mt Kilimanjaro to open his moon based amusement park Lunar Land Er.
In their first battle Velcro Lad climbed a street post and hung around until Mojo got tired and went Home On the occasion of their second battle Mojo brought a Ladder but forgot to turn off his Slick Suit so he could never climb past the first rung.

Velcro Lad has Pledged that in any following battles actually engage his opponent rather then stick around until he gets tired and goes away.
In his post combat interview when asked how he was feeling he replied "I'm a little prickly today."

When asked about his Favorite Plant. His answer "Prickly pear"

And when asked to join the Chumpions He replied "Sorry can't stick around for that."
